The Boglen Terrier is a cross between purebred Beagle and purebred Boston Terrier and is called a designer's dog. They are very good family pets. They are alert, active, curious and gentle and get along well with other dogs and pets in the family. They are gentle and patient with children. They may be difficult to housebreak but respond well to firm and strong training. They have a boxer like appearance with small but strong body build. They have a square head. They have large floppy ears and large eyes. Their front and back legs are larger in proportion to their body giving them a boxer like look.
Most common colours for these dogs are brown and white, orange and white and black and white.
This hybrid has a coat that is medium in length and can be silky soft or coarse depending up on inherited genes from dog to dog.
They are active, sharp, alert and gentle dogs which make them very good family pets. They get along well with children and other pets including dogs in the family.
They need normal brushing and usually do not shed a lot but they do shed a lot when they are excited.
To train a Boglen Terrier is not difficult at all. They are fast learners thanks to their intelligence.
They need fair amount of exercise. Long walks or a yard with a fence is good enough to keep them from bad behavior.
