The Cock-A-Mo is a hybrid breed of dogs that is produced by cross breeding between the American Eskimo and the Cocker Spaniel purebreds. They are also referred to as designers dogs. They are small to medium size dogs standing anywhere between 9 to 19 inches. They have a balanced body structure.
They are found in white, white and black, white and brown, gray, black and tan or any combination of these colours but mostly they are found in white with patches of other colouring.
They have medium length corded and silky coat.
The Cock-A-Mo dogs are very playful, intelligent, trustworthy, loyal, alert and social dogs. They are very good family pets. They are gentle and patient with small children and generally get along well with other pets in the family. They may be prone to displaying willful behavior but that should go away with proper training. These dogs are alert to their surroundings and will caution their owner if they sense anything unusual.
They need daily grooming. These hybrids shed more but regular brushing will take care of this.
They are very trainable dogs. They are easy to train.
The Cock-A-Mo hybrids will require moderate amount of exercise and playing times. Regular walk and play sessions are recommended for this breed.
