The Cambodian Razorback Dog is a very rare and long haired ridgeback dog originating in Cambodia. It is a powerful and larger dog than other ridgeback dogs like Phu Quoc dog from Vietnam and the Thai ridgeback. It has a short head with broad skull. Nose is black and eyes are round and dark. Ears are pricked and alert. The coat is long with very pronounced ridge on the back. The dog is found in solid and combination of colors.
The dog is very powerful, agile and active. It stands up to 20 inches or more and weighs around 60 pounds. The dog has never been recognized as pure breed by the local Cambodians. It is used by farmers for hunting and protection dog.
