General
The Affengriffon dogs are very lively, loveable and very independent dogs. They are reasonably healthy.
Color
The Affengriffon comes in combinations of white, brown, black, gray, silver, red and tan.
Coat
The coat is of coarse hair which grow in whorl.
Personality
Loveable, independent, very social with family members and other pets. They can easily be trainable.
Care
Due to unusual whorl hair growth, special plucking is required. Cutting or trimming will destroy the coat for years.
Training
They are very trainable but training should start in the early days of the affengriffon.
Activity
They like to play games with family members.
