General
Afollie dogs are a cross breed between The Afghan hound and Collie. They have chinkey eyes and ears are carried especially when alert.
Color
They are available in many colours like black, blue, slat-colored, reddish brown, all shades of grey.
Coat
Outer coat is straight, rough, tough and long while inner coat is compact and wooly.
Personality
Affolie is a gentle, cheerable, loveable proud dog. Always interested to learn new things and independent, they are more for the family than for outer world.
Care
The Afollie's will shed averagely than normal dogs. They will require regular brushing and grooming to refrain from matting and to always keep their coat good looking. Removing of excessive hairs are also advised. Bathing should be done when necessary using a mild soap.
Training
These breeds are intelligent and easy to train. But they can be stubborn at times, which may get in their way. They will need a firm and gentle hand with consistency and lots of patience. Their training need to be fun and interesting, not to bore them, and they will love it when they are being praised.
Activity
They love going for long walks but are well behaved and obedient and do not try to cause unnecessary problems for the owner.
