General
The Anglos-Francai Grand is one of the Anglo-French hound breeds which were created by crossing French Scenthounds with English Foxhounds.
This large dog breed generally has long, drop ears with a long tail. It has a height and weight of 24-28 inches and 74-78 pounds respectively. It displays a short double coat and comes in three colours.
Color
Colours for the Anglos-Francai Grand dogs are black, white and tan or tricolor.

It has short and double coat.
Personality
This breed is very suitable for rural setting as it is accustomed to living in open areas. It may not be suitable for urban or city life unless provided with large yard to play and run. These dogs are primarily used for hunting and despite its good nature, may not do well as family pet. It can get along with other dogs in the house as it is accustomed to be in a pack of dogs. Smaller animals will be at danger when this dog is around due to its high prey drive. Walking this dog off-leashed may prove disastrous as it can run after a small animal and harm it. The dog is generally friendly and good-natured with its family.
Care
Short coat of this breed needs very little grooming.
Training
The dog should be trained for obedience. As with most working dogs, training with a firm attitude is advised.
Activity
This dog needs lots and lots of exercise in the form of playing, running and walking. This is not a dog for lazy family or owner.
