The Aussiedoodle is a cross breed between the Australian shepherd and the poodle. This breed exhibits small body and longish coat. Shedding is minimal. It has strong body stance and muscular body structure. These dogs are very agile.
They come in a variety of colours, including marbled gray and black, red and silver or buff marbled, black and red tri.
Many times the coat is missing altogether. If coat does exist, it may vary with dog to dog. Most common coat types are curly, wavy, straight and can be long or short.
The Aussiedoodle dogs have very pleasant personalities. They are medium in size, very loving, get along well with other dogs and pets in the family and specially love children.
Ear checking and cleaning is recommended. Little brushing and trimming is enough for this breed.
They are very intelligent and love to learn new things. They are fast learners. Training should be done with patience, love, care, reward, firmness and hard and harsh methods should be avoided at all costs.
They need room to run and play to keep their high energy levels under control. Regular walk for an hour twice a day is recommended for this breed.
