Breed Details
General
The Aussiedor is a cross breed between the Labrador and the Australian Shepherd. Although a newish breed, they are gaining popularity due to various reasons. Aussiedors are fairly large dogs that are very playful and loving.
Color
These dogs come in variations of different colors. Some are found in solid black or brown and maybe in combinations of black and brown, brown and yellow to tan and reddish-brown.
Coat
These coat of these breed is dense, water-resistant and very easy to care. It can be straight or may be slightly wavy.
Personality
They belong to a high level dog breed that needs to do something and do not like to sit idle for too long. They are very loving and make a very good family pet.
Care
They need something to do to stay happy so regular walk and exercise routines are a must for these dogs. They may also be used to do small house chores. They are prone to dysplasia, cataracts.
Training
Due to high levels of intelligence, they are very quick learners and love to learn new things.
Activity
They need lots of regular exercises and outdoor walk and opportunities to run and play. They specially like fetching and retrieving sessions.
