The Bascottie dog breed is a hybrid breed and is the product of cross breeding between the Basset Hound and the Scottish Terrier purebreds. Generally, the Bascottie dogs are agile, active, short legged, and have a thick wavy coat that is often black.

They are mostly found in black colour.

The coat is thick, wavy,wiry and black in colour.
Personality
They are hyper active dogs and want to be doing something every moment.
Care
Not suitable for small children due to their hyper active behavior. They tend to jump a lot despite having short legs.
