General
These hybrids are results of cross breeding between the Beagle and the Lhasa Apso purebreds and have small and compact body, with short, square legs. They exhibit an expression of friendliness, sweetness and curiosity.
Color
They are common in shades of tan, black, brown and white.
Coat
The coat is silky and medium in length.
Personality
These hybrids are intelligent dogs and want to please their owner. They are very trainable and love to learn new trick and fun games. They should be dealt with patience if they show some stubborn behavior towards training.
Care
Their coat needs regular brushing; atleast twice per week to avoid tangles. Their diet should be monitored so that they do not put on weight.
Training
The Be-Apso is an intelligent breed but needs a training with a firm hand, gentle, fair and consistent. They show dominance and some dog behaviors. Early socialization and obedience training is recommended.
