General
The Beagi is a designer dog cross between the Beagle and Pembroke Welsh Corgi. They are called hybrid or designer dogs because they originate from two different pure breeds.
The Beagi dogs are alert, lively, intelligent, loyal and social dogs. They have common features and characteristics of both parent breeds.
They are loyal, territorial and protective dogs that get along well with all ages if they are properly socialized. They make very good family, watch and humane companion.
Color
The Beagi comes with a mix of parent breed coat colors like red, sable, lemon (blonde & white), fawn, black & tan, tricolor, orange & white, red & white and with or without white markings.
Coat
This breed has a thick coat, soft, dense, short and weather resistant to protect against the elements.
Personality
The Beagi is an intelligent and loving dog who are loyal to their family. They are friendly and able to establish good relationship with children and other dogs if given early socialization training. Some of these breeds were able to inhibit the protective instincts of their Corgi parent. They love the bond with their family and loves to please their owner. They are energetic and active dogs and likes to learn. They make a wonderful family companion.
Care
This breed requires regular brushing of their coat as they are moderate shedders.
Training
The Beagi is highly intelligent dogs. They are very trainable but due to their stubbornness and independent behavior, they would require gentle, rewarding and purposefully training sessions and a patient owner. Early socialization and obedience training is recommended.
Activity
This breed are active indoors and playful. They suit in an apartment dwelling life. Daily leash walk or brisk walk is necessary to fill their exercise needs.
