Breed Details

General

The Bich-poo is a cross between a Bichon Frise and a Poodle purebreds and are called hybrid dogs. They are also known as 'Poochon' or 'Bichpoo'. They are small in size and weigh anything around 15 to 25 pounds. They are strong and hardy dogs.

Color

They come in a variety of different colours that include but not limited to black, cream, apricot, white, grey and blue.

Coat

They have a curly outer coat with soft and silky inner coat.

Personality

They are loving, affectionate, responsive and sensible. They like to entertain their owners. They have lots of energy and like to run around the house but also like to curl up and have a nap. They get along well with other dogs and pets in the house. They are very good with children also and make very good family pets.

Care

The Bich-poos either shed too little or do not shed at all. They need trimming or clipping. Regular brushing is needed to prevent the coat from tangles.

Training

They are very trainable and learn new tricks easily due to their intelligence.

Activity

They require moderate exercise. A walk and play session is enough to keep them happy.
