Breed Details
General
The Bichomo is the result of cross breeding between the American Eskimo and the Bichon Frise purebreds. They are small dogs that are loving and loveable and make great family dogs. They have a small compact body that makes them ideal 'Lap Dogs'.
Color
They come in white or cream colours.
Coat
The coat of Bichomos is thick and medium length. Soft to touch, the coat is either slightly wavy or curly.
Personality
These dogs are great family dogs, showing love and care to the family members. They are very intelligent and learn quickly so training them is not difficult at all. They get along well other dogs and pets in the house. They are loyal to their family members. Good human to canine relationship is necessary for these dogs.
Care
They should be brushed thoroughly atleast twice a week to keep their coat free of debris and dandruff. Bath them when necessary otherwise their coat will lose its shine and natural oil.
Training
They learn quickly. They should be trained from early age so that these dogs know right from the wrong.
Activity
They have moderate energy levels and just require normal walking and playing activities. They are perfect for small houses.
