General

The Boston Chin dogs are hybrid dogs. They are a result of cross breed between purebred Boston Terrier and purebred Japanese Chin. These dogs are a cute mixture of both parent breeds and inherit their good natured genes. They are small sized dogs that may have medium size coat that is neither fluffy like a Japanese Chin nor a coarse like a Boston Terrier.

Color

They are mostly found in black and white colour but they can have many different colours like brindle, seal.

Coat

Their coat is medium in size and is neither fluffy nor coarse.

Personality

These Boston Chin dogs are gentle, alert, intelligent and eager to please their owners. These dogs have characteristics from parent breeds that make them very good family pets. These dogs are not barkers and will only bark to alert the family of something unusual. The Boston Chins inherit 'gentlemen' trait from the Boston Terrier and 'Cat-like dog' trait from the Japanese Chin. These dogs are loveable dogs.

Care

This breed is an average shedder. They will need regular brushing if their coat to remove excessive coat.

Training

This dog breed is very intelligent and very good learner. They are easy to train.

Activity

This breed suits well in an apartment living. The dogs are active indoors and make a wonderful humane companion.
