General
The Boston Spaniel dogs are a result of cross breeding between the Boston Terrier and the Cocker Spaniel purebreds. These Boston Spaniels have a compact body. They are of small size.
Color
They are found in different colours including but not limited to black, brown, black and white, brown and white and a combination of a variety of colours.
Coat
They have short and shiny coat which is easier to maintain.
Personality
They are fun dogs who are affectionate, loving, eager to please, very smart and have high energy levels. They are particularly good towards children and hence make a great family dog for families with small children and other pets. They love to get attention and will respond to it by trying to please the owner.
Care
They shed minimal and need low to normal care. Normal brushing is enough for these dogs.
Training
They are high energy and high intelligence dogs. This combination makes them great trainees. They learn fast and quick and are always ready to learn new tricks.
Activity
These dogs require long walks and playing sessions to manage their high levels of energy under control. Regular walking and playing sessions are necessary for these dogs.
