General
The Bowzer dogs are a mix between the Basset Hound and the Miniature Schnauzer purebreds. They are alert, loyal and social dogs and they get along well with children in the family. They have medium sized coat that is dense, harsh and rough and may be wiry as well.
Color
These dogs can be in a variety of different colours including but not limited to black, white, silver and many other colours.
Coat
The coat is dense, rough and harsh and sometimes wiry. The shedding is normal.
Personality
These dogs inherit loyal and social behavior from the Basset Hound and alertness from the Miniature Schnauzer. They are good family pets that love children and get along well with other dogs and pets in the family.
Care
They can be constant shedders like a Basset Hound or moderate shedders. They may require minimal to normal grooming depending up on which parent trait is dominant.
Training
This breed is very intelligent and highly trainable. They respond well to trainers with a firm, consistent and gentle hand.
Activity
They will require average exercises and needs to be taken out on a regular basis. They will love outdoor activities. This breed is hyperactive and active indoors so they will need lots of space to room around. They can dwell in an apartment living but needs to be given enough routines to burn off their high energy and tire them out.
