Breed Details
General
The Boxita dogs are hybrid dogs that are obtained by a cross between a Boxer and an Akita purebreds. These are medium to large size dogs with a muscular and strong body. They are very good family pets having the best traits of the parent breeds. They are loyal, loving, affectionate, alert and gentle specially with children.
Color
They may be found in many colours but commonly seen in white with brown patches, brown and golden.
Coat
The coat of this breed is short, silky, smooth and weather-resistant.
Personality
They are humble, loving and affectionate dogs that make a very good family pet. They are gentle with children. Some Boxitas make good watchdogs if Akita traits are dominant; others are more playful like a Boxer. All in all, this breed is good for families with small children and other pets.
Care
This breed shed little to none. Minimal brushing of coat is still needed and a little grooming to maintain their good looking appearance. Bath when necessary.
Training
The Boxita dogs are very intelligent dogs and learn quickly. They may need firm and consistent training sessions as sometimes they may show stubborn behavior.
Activity
They do require fair bit of exercises, the lack of which may lead to Boxita chewing and destructive behavior.
