Breed Details

General

To determine characteristics of these dogs, the best way is to study the characteristics of the parent breeds.

Color

These dogs may be found in red, black, brown, white and any combination of these colours.

Coat

Their coat can be dense and fine.

Personality

Since the Bulldog is aggressive, cheerful and independent and the Whippet is social and quite, the Bullwhip is a mix of these traits that make this dog good for the family but its aggression is sometime disturbing.

Care

This breed is an average shedder. They will need a regular brushing and grooming.

Training

The Bullwhip can be hard to train. They will need a firm hand, gentle and consistent trainer. Early socialization and training at puppyhood is highly recommended.

Activity

This breed will need a large amount of daily exercise. Lots of outdoor activities are needed and a large yard or space to roam around will be good for them.
