The Cairmal is a designer breed cross between the Cairn Terrier and Maltese. They are friendly, lively, affectionate, fun-loving and a happy dog. They can get along well with other dogs and even with children. They make a family pet and a charming humane companion.
They come in various of combinations of black, white, light cream, gray, brindle, red and sand.
The coat of this breed can be medium to long in length. It is double layered, thick, coarse and hard to touch. Some may have straight hairs while others are curly and fuzzy which gives them a shaggy look.
