Breed Details

General

The Carnauzer dogs are a mix between a Cairn Terrier and a miniature Schnauzer purebreds. They are small to medium size dogs that are good family pets. They have short legs of the Terrier and body of a Schnauzer. Their head is square with big puppy eyes. Their tail is docked.

Color

They are mostly found in blond colour. Some may be seen in dark brown or black with white patches.

Coat

These dogs have outer harsh, weather proof coat like a Cairn Terrier and an inner coat that is soft to touch.

Personality

They are loving dogs that make good family pets. They are specially good with children and enjoy their company more than the adults. They love to get attention. They are very playful dogs and want to be around family most of the time. They make very good exercise partners.

Care

Occasional brushing and grooming is enough for these dogs as they are low to non-shedders.

Training

This breed has an above average intelligence and are very easy to train.

Activity

They are very good exercise partner dogs and love to exercise. Daily walks and play sessions are important to keep these dogs away from boredom.
