Breed Details
General
The Cava-Shell is a hybrid produced by a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Sheetland Sheepdog purebreds. They are also called designers dogs.
Color
They come in variations of different colors like, brown, tan, Merle, black, blue and different shades of sable.
Coat
Their coat is thick, double layered, smooth to touch and silky.
Personality
They are very good family pets. They are loving, affectionate, intelligent, obedient and agile dogs. The Cava-Shell dogs may show shy behavior when they meet new people but they soon will get over their shyness and show their normal loving nature. They make good family and companion dogs. They are good with children and other pets and dogs in the family. They love to go out on walks, play sessions and for swimming.
Care
This breed will need several grooming maintenance as they tend to shed moderately. Frequent brushing will help maintain their coat at its best and remove excessive hairs.
Training
They are very intelligent dogs and learn new tricks very fast. They are quick learners.
Activity
Being agile and energetic dogs, the Cava-shells require outdoor walks and play sessions. They love to play fetch games and also enjoy swimming.
