General
The Cavanese dogs are hybrid dogs that are produced by cross breeding of purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and purebred Havanese. They are small cute dogs that make very good family pets. They are loving and patient with children. They are great companion dogs and love to be around the family.
Color
They are found in black and tan, sable or parti colouring coats.
Coat
Their coat is silky to touch. Most Cavanese have short coat but some also have longer coat. Either coat requires regular brushing.
Personality
They are happy, loving and social dogs. They are very good with children and show patience around them. Cavanese dogs love to be around their family. They are somewhat independent dogs but early obedience training make them follow the instructions completely.
