The Chacy Ranior is a breed that was originally called the Shichon. This breed was developed in the year 2000 specifically for special needs children. The breeds used for the development of the Chacy Ranior include the Bichon Frise, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Poodle, Havanese, and Miniature Schnauzer.
The Chacy Ranior, alternatively known as Shichon is crossed with several breeds. They are Maltese, Havanese, Bichon Frise, Shih-Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Miniature Schnauzer, Yorkshire Terrier, and the Poodle. Chacy Ranior or Shichon was originally bred to be a therapy dog for special needs children with a gentle temperament. Chacy Raniors make great Companion and Toy Dogs.
Color
They come in a variety of colors that include: tan, liver, black and tan, liver and white, apricot, white, black brindle, and black and white.
Coat
The Chacy Ranior has a soft, dense outer coat with an insulating undercoat.
Personality
These dogs are very devoted to their families and do not like to be left alone all day long with no company. If are going to be gone all day, you may want to think about getting two dogs or even a cat to keep it company. The Chacy Ranior does well with non-canine pets.

This breed needs quite a bit of grooming. The Chacy Ranior sheds little to no hair and is said to be good for allergy sufferers.
