General
The Chatham Hill Retriever dog breed is a hybrid breed that is a result of a mix between the Flat Coated Retriever and the Cocker Spaniel purebreds. These resulting hybrids are sometimes called 'Miniature Retriever' and they are produced with the aim to have a smaller spaniel type dog with features of a retriever. These hybrids are inherent of best of their parent breed traits and make a wonderful family and companion dog. They are medium sized dogs at 20-23 inches and weighing 35-45 pounds.
Color
They are found in many colours but most commonly found in black, brown and yellow colours.
Coat
Their coat is either flat or slightly wavy.
Personality
The Chatham Hill Retriever dogs are great family and companion dogs. They are very loving, highly intelligent, eager to please and social dogs. They are very playful, gentle and even-tempered dogs that are equally good with adults and children. They are very good with other dogs and pets in the family. These dogs are real people lovers and would love to be around the family most of the time.
Care
They are low shedding dogs and are great for people who are allergic to dog sheddings.

These dogs are very intelligent. They are not hard to train at all.
