General
The Cheenese is a cross between a Chihuahua and a Havanese purebreds and is called hybrid dog breed. These dogs are also called designers dogs. They are small size dogs with characteristics of both the parent breeds. These dogs are alert, courageous, loyal, social, intelligent and responsive. They are good family dogs.
Color
They are found in different colours. Most common colours are red, blue, brown, gray, red, silver and white.
Coat
These dogs usually have long and silky coat. They are average shedders and would require normal grooming.
Personality
They inherit the best of their parent breeds when it comes to being a family pet. Their alertness and courage make them very good watchdogs. The cheerful instincts make them loveable and their even temperament is ideal for family pets. They are very good companion dogs for adults and older children; however the Chihuahuas are not known for their compatibility with small children so caution must be exercised when they are around small children.
Care
They are average shedders. They may require regular brushing and grooming to keep their coat clean of matt.
Training
The Cheenese dogs are highly intelligent who learn fast and are easy to train.
Activity
They require moderate level of exercise and play sessions outdoors. Regular walk should keep them happy.
