General
The Chin-wa dogs are a mix between purebred Chihuahua and Japanese Chin. They are hybrid dogs with small body size. Their head is like that of Chihuahua apple shape and nose resembles to Japanese Chin. They have long erected ears and big round eyes.
Color
They are mostly found in white colours in their puppyhood. The coat can become white with red, brown or black.
Coat
They can have long or short coat.
Personality
The Chin-wa dogs are very smart, alert and playful. They are suitable for all ages but they should be supervised when around younger children as they may get hurt. These dogs are very loving and eager to please their owners. They may show occasional stubborn behavior and should be dealt with firm and consistent training. They are alert to their surroundings and would alert their owners if they sense something unusual around them. They are great companion dogs and would love to be around their family.
Care
They do not need lots of grooming. Regular brushing should take care of their coat.
Training
They may need some obedience training so they do not follow their owners all the time. They are quick learners and would respond best to training with positive reinforcement.
Activity
They are active dog breeds and love to play and have fun. They would require moderate level of exercises and regular walks to fill in their exercise needs.
