Breed Details

General

The Chinaranian dog breed is the result of a mix between purebred Chinese Crested and purebred Pomeranian. These dogs are called hybrid dogs or designers dogs. They are small size dogs standing not more than 12 inches. They are very sweet and loving dogs. This breed is generally alert, cheerful and social. They are very good and patient with children. These characteristics make them ideal family dogs.

Color

Like Pomeranian, they are found in many colours. Common colours for these dogs include black, black and tan, blue, brown, white, gray and red.

Coat

They have a short, fine and thick coat.

Personality

They are very sweet and loving dogs. They are very protective and alert to their surroundings. They like to be with their family most of the time. Both the parent breeds are great with children and their resulting hybrid is no different. They are very good dogs for families with small children as these dogs show patience and gentleness around them.

Care

They need weekly brushing of their coat. Bath as needed. Grooming should be every 2-3 months.

They may need consistent and daily training.

They may require moderate amount of exercise. Daily walks should fulfill their exercise needs.
