General
The Cockapin are hybrid dogs that are obtained by cross breeding of a Miniature Pinscher and a Cocker Spaniel. They are called hybrid dogs. They are intelligent, loyal, alert, loving, friendly and affectionate dogs. They are very good family pets. They are small in size.
Color
They are found in a mix of both parent colours. Some colours can be black and tan, parti colour, white, stag red, stag brown and any solid colour.
Coat
Their coat can be short and smooth.
Personality
They are loving and affectionate dogs. They love to be with their family owners most of the time and do not enjoy being left alone. They are very good with children and will get along well with other dogs and pets in the family. They are alert dogs and would make good watch dogs. They are very good companion dogs as well.
Care
The Cockapin is sheds very little to none. They will need minimal brushing maintenance and grooming once in a while to keep their coat good looking.
Training
This breed is an intelligent breed and are very easy to train.

They are active dog breed and would require fair amount of indoor and outdoor play.
