General
The Cocker-Pei is a mix between a Cocker Spaniel and a Chinese Shar Pei purebreds. They are called designer dogs or hybrid dogs. They have a medium size body that is strong and sturdy. They have wrinkles on their face. They weigh around 25 to 35 pounds. These hybrids are very good companion dogs.
Color
They are found in many different colours. Some are red, fawn and chocolate with white markings.
Coat
Their coat is very soft and silky.
Personality
They are wonderful pet dogs. They are intelligent but sometimes stubborn. They need consistent firm training to curb their stubborn behavior. They are very good and gentle with children as well as other dogs and pets in the family. They are also protective of their family. They make very good companion and family dogs.
Care
Early socialization with children and other pets from puppyhood is necessary for these dogs.
Training
Due to their willful and stubborn traits, they are not easy to train and would require firm and consistent training sessions with owner establishing himself as pack leader.
Activity
They need moderate level of exercise routines. They tire-out quickly as compared to some other dogs.
