The Cockinese dogs are result of cross breeding between a Cocker Spaniel and a Pekingese purebreds. They are called hybrid dogs. They are social, alert, loyal and independent. They are found in different colours. Their coat can be of two types depending which breed trait is dominant. These dogs are good family pets and companion dogs. They are small size dogs and get along well with children.
Color
The Cockinese dogs are found in different colours. Some possible colours are black, black and tan, brown, red and white.
Coat
Their coat is of two types. One type of coat is medium length and silky like a Cocker Spaniel. The other type of coat is long, rough and coarse like a Pekingese.
Personality
The Cockinese dogs are good family pets. They are alert and social dogs who love to be around their family members. They are good with small children. Their independent behavior may peruse them to be willful sometimes but can be controlled by proper training. They are very loveable dogs and make good family pets.
Care
Both parent breeds are average shedders and so are their hybrids. They would need frequent grooming.
Training
These hybrids may show willful attitude when it comes to training but the owner should train them with firm and consistent training sessions.

They need moderate level of exercise. Regular walking is recommended for these dogs.
