Breed Details

General

The Cojack is a mix between a purebred Jack Russell Terrier and a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.

They are small size dogs with an average height and weight of 10-13 inches and 18-27 pounds respectively. They are alert, cheerful, intelligent and loyal dogs.

Color

They are found in different colours like black, black and tan, red and white or any mix of these colours.

Coat

They can have a medium length rough or smooth or a mix of both coats.

Personality

The Cojack dogs are loving, loyal and family oriented. They are very affectionate to their family and are good with children. They like to be in the center of things and do not like to be left alone. These dogs are very intelligent and eager to please, thus easy to train. They are aloof to strangers and will bark to announce arrival of an unfamiliar person. They are good watch dogs. They have very high energy levels and will require lots of exercise to satisfy their body and mind.

Care

Their coat may require minimal grooming.

Training

They are very intelligent dogs and eager to learn. They are easy to train dogs. Obedience training and early socialization is important for these dogs as they sometimes behave in a stubborn way.

Activity

These dogs will need to be taken for exercise daily as they have high energy in them. They can take part in different dog sports like flyball, dog agility, obedience.
