Breed Details

General

The Confetti Australian Shepherd is a mix between the Australian Shepherd and the Miniature Schnauzer. They are called hybrid dogs or designer dogs. Their general characteristics can be predicted by studying their parent breeds. A comparative study of the parent breeds of this hybrid reveal that these hybrids can be small to medium in length and can weigh around 15 to 30 pounds. They can be found in different colors and combinations.

Color

Colours for this breed can be black, gray, silver, red and white or any combination of these colours.

Coat

Their coat can be short or medium in length and rough and wiry to touch.

Personality

The Confetti Australian Shepherds are alert, intelligent, loyal and social and a bit aggressive in nature. They make good pets for families with older children. They need early socialization to get along with other pets and dogs in the family. They would caution the family if they sense anything unusual around them. This makes them good watchdogs.
