The Crusties are hybrid dogs that are a mix between a Chinese Crested and a Yorkshire Terrier purebreds. They are also referred to as designer dogs.
A comparative study of the parent breeds shows that these hybrids are small in size, standing not more than 12 inches and weighing around 12 pounds. They are cheerful, loyal and intelligent dogs that make very good family pets. They are found in different colours like blue and black. Their coat depends on whether they have a hairless coat or a true hairy coat.
