General
The Daniff is a mix between a Great Dane and a Mastiff purebreds. They are hybrid dogs. They are large dogs weighing around 115-130 pounds and standing 32-34 inches tall. They have muscular body with large feet, floppy ears and soft and shiny coat. Their general appearance is similar to Great Dane but they have a much thicker body like a Mastiff.
They are alert, loving and affectionate dogs and make great family pets.
Color
The Daniffs are found in many colours that either side of the bloodline can produce. They are commonly seen in red fawn coat.
Coat
The Daniffs have a soft and shiny coat.
Personality
The Daniffs are large dogs that can be very imposing by virtue of their size and body structure. They are loving, affectionate, alert and protective dogs by nature. These dogs are very loyal and make great family dogs. They are smart, funny and very intelligent dogs and make a very good addition in an active family. They are good with children and other pets. The Daniffs have a laid-back and easy going personality. They are very good watchdogs who would alert their owners of any unusual change or a stranger. They will bark only for a good reason. They have great temperament to be considered as excellent family pets.
Care
They are low shedders. They would require brushing of their coat every two days.
Training
They are highly intelligent dogs and will learn fast and easily but they can show occasional stubborn behavior. This should be dealt with gentle and consistent training sessions. Food and love rewards will also help train them.
Activity
These large dogs would require lots of indoor and outdoor activities. They would love to live in a big house with a big yard but they can live in smaller house or apartments provided their exercise needs should be met on daily basis.
