Breed Details
General
The Doberman Shepherd dogs are hybrid dogs that are a mix between a German Shepherd and a Doberman Pinscher purebreds. They are large dogs standing around 22-24 inches and having weight in the range of 90-110 pounds. They are well-muscled and compact dogs.
Color
They are commonly found in black and tan colours.
Coat
They have a shiny and soft coat.
Personality
The Doberman Shepherd dogs are strong, intelligent and energetic dogs. They are dominant and strong-willed dogs that may or may not be suitable for families with small children. The parent breeds have been reported to have behavior and obedience issues but the resulting hybrids show a less aggressive temperament. These strong and good looking dogs are wonder and loving dogs that necessarily need obedience training from early age.
Care
They are low shedding dogs and would require normal grooming.
Training
Being highly intelligent but willful dogs, they may show stubborn and willful behavior towards training but gentle and consistent training should take care of this issue.
Activity
They are high energy dogs and would require lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Long walks and playing opportunities are necessary for these dogs.
