General

The Doxie-Chon dogs are a mix between a Bichon Frise and a Dachshund purebreds. They are hybrid dogs or designer dogs. They are small size dogs having features of both parent breeds. They have narrow head having black nose and brown expressive eyes. The ears are medium length and tri-shapped. Their body is like a Dachshund, elongated with short legs. Overall they are cute little dogs.

They are found in different colors and their coat is wavy, wiry or fluffy in nature.

Color

The Doxie-Chon dogs are found in different colors. Common colors for these dogs are black, black and tan, brown and white.

Coat

They can have fine, wiry or dense coat.

Personality

They are cheerful little dogs and very social. They get along very well with all ages . They are loyal dogs who are love to spend time with their family and love to please them. These dogs are good with children and will get along well with other dogs and pets in the family. They are a little shy towards guests but quickly warm-up and get social with them. They are sweet little cuddly dogs. They make good family pets.

Care

These dogs need regular brushing. Their hair do not grow fast and they need trimming every 3-4 months.

They are intelligent dogs and would respond to positive training sessions with reward and love reinforcement techniques.
