The Flandoodle is a cross between Bouvier Des Flanders and a Poodle. They are called hybrid dogs. They are around 22-28 inches and weigh between 55-85 pounds. They have a strong and rugged looking body. They are available in fawn to black, salt and pepper or gray and brindle colors.
Flandoodle dogs are strong, robust yet compact dogs. They are loyal, loving and intelligent dogs that can make good family dogs.

They are alert and protective dogs and will make good guard dogs. They are good with all ages but would need early socialization with children and other pets in the family. They have hunting instincts and can point birds. These hybrids are very calm and gentle dog breeds but they can get bored very easily. They need new things and stimulation to keep them busy. They are naturally protective of their family and will automatically protect them of any potential danger. These dogs are very good with children. They are naturally aloof to strangers and need early socialization from puppy hood to throughout their lives. They are excellent watch and guard dogs and will make very good family pets.
Care
Their coat needs regular brushing and combing and grooming every 2-3 weeks.
Training
These dogs are easy to train and they can learn new tricks very quickly. They, however, become bored with repetition of the training tricks. To avoid this situation, training should consist of new routines.
