The Golden Labrador is a mix between a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever purebreds. They are hybrid dogs as they originate from two different pure breeds.

The Golden Labrador dogs are alert, cheerful, intelligent, responsive and social. They are loving and affectionate dogs. They are medium to large size dogs with a height of 24-28 inches and weight between 55-80 pounds. They are found in different colours.

These dogs are good family pets.

Color

Common colours for these dogs are black, brown, red, white and yellow.

They have a medium to long length dense and rough coat that is water-repellent.

Personality

The Golden Labrador dogs are a great mix of two very loving, affectionate and loyal dog breeds. These hybrids are loyal, cheerful, playful and affectionate dogs that love to be around their family most of the time. These dogs are excellent with children. They are very patient and loving towards them and make great playmates. These dogs are equally get well with other dogs and pets in the family. The Golden Labrador dogs are eager to please their owners. They are very active dogs and require lots of exercises and playing opportunities. They are good with guests with proper socialization. These dogs may not make very good guard dogs but they can be used as watchdogs due to their alert and attentive nature. They would alert the family of an approaching stranger. These hybrids require time with their family and may become destructive if left alone for longer periods of time. They are great family and companion pets.

Care

These dogs would need regular brushing of their coat. Their coat is easy to groom and low maintenance.
