General

The Havanestie is a cross mix between a Havanese and a West Highland White Terrier purebreds. The Havanestie is called hybrid because this breed is originated from two different pure breeds.

The Havanestie is small size dogs, standing not more than 12 inches and weighing around 10-20 pounds. These dogs are cheerful, intelligent, loyal, responsive and social. They make good family pets for all ages.

Color

The Havanestie dogs are mostly found in black with white patches but they also exhibit some other colours like blue, brown, gray, silver and white or a mix of these colours.

Coat

The Havanestie can have a double coat that is silky and long like a Havanese or they can have a short and rough coat like a Westie or the coat can be a mix of these two coats.

Personality

The Havanestie dogs are loving, sweet and self-assured dogs that bond to their family. These dogs are very loving and affectionate. These hybrids are good with children and other dogs and pets in the family. These dogs love to be with their family and like to spend time with them. The Havanestie dogs are alert and attentive to their surroundings. Although they are friendly towards strangers, they will alert their family of an approaching stranger. These dogs are very intelligent and will learn easily. The Havanestie dogs make good family, companion and watch dogs.

The Havanestie dogs are intelligent enough to learn. These hybrids are easy to train.

Activity

They are high energy dogs but do not require large space. They easily fit into small houses and apartment life style. A daily walk with indoor play is sufficient to fulfill their exercise needs.
