General
The Havaton is a mix between a purebred Coton De Tulear and a purebred Havanese. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.
The Havaton dogs are small in size with an average weight and height of 9 to 12 inches and 7-13 pounds respectively. They are sturdy little dogs that are very playful and amusing. Their friendly nature, kind and affectionate attitude and intelligence makes them very good family pets.
Color
The Havaton dogs can be of any colour as Havanes can have any coat colour.
Coat
Their coat can be long, soft and silky like a Havanese or it can take after a Coton De Tulear coat that is fluffy and soft.
Personality
The Havaton dogs are very friendly, kind, loving, intelligent and affectionate dogs. They are very entertaining, eager and willing to please and family oriented dogs who love to be with their family although they may not mind little time to their own as they are self entertaining. These dogs are playful and great with children. They also get along with other dogs and pets in the house. They like to amuse their owners in any way possible including obeying their orders. This makes them very trainable dogs. The Havaton dogs are social and friendly and will not be shy of strangers. They are active indoors and may just need a walk off and on to keep themselves happy. Most of their exercise needs are fulfilled by indoor play.
Care
Their coat needs regular brushing and bathing every 2-3 weeks.
Training
The Havaton dogs are very trainable as they like to please their owners. They love to get attention and will respond well to gentle training routines.
Activity
They may need a short walk just to satisfy their walking instinct as most of their exercise needs are fulfilled by indoor play.
