The Highland Maltie is a mix between a West Highland White Terrier and a Maltese purebreds. The Highland Maltie dogs are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two pure breed dogs.

The Highland Maltie dogs are small in size, standing not more than 11 inches and weigh between 11 to 16 pounds. These dogs are sweet, spunky, friendly and lively. They get along well with all family members.

The Highland Maltie dogs are found in white colour only and their coat is rough or soft.

They have a double coat. The outer coat is long and can be silky or rough. Inner coat is soft and dense.

They are lively and spunky dogs who are alert and intelligent. They are very good watchdogs. The Highland Maltie dogs love to get attention and enjoy spending time with their family. They are very good companion dogs. They would need a daily walk to keep their balance. These little hybrids are very good watchdogs and family pets. These dogs are low shedding and hypoallergenic.
