The Italian Bulldogge is a cross between an Italian Mastiff and an Olde Bulldog. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.
The Italian Bulldogge is large size dog, standing up to 31 inches and weighing around 80-150 pounds. These dogs are protective, loyal, alert and courageous.
These hybrids are found in different colours. Some common colours for these dogs are black, blue, gray, red and white or a mix of these colours.
Their coat is short, dense and straight.
The Italian Bulldogges are loyal, loving, courageous and protective of their family. These dogs are very strong and alert. They are good with children with proper training but constant supervision is necessary when they are with children. These dogs will need proper socialization with other dogs in the family. They are wary of strangers and can be aggressive to unknown visitors, human or dog. These large dogs would need proper and constant obedience and socialization training. These dogs are not suitable for first time owners. They are very good guard dogs and will protect their family at all costs.
Care and supervision is required when these dogs are around children and other dogs.
These dogs would need gentle and firm training as they will not respond to harsh training methods.
Being large in size, these dogs would need lots of exercise. A daily long walk and some play time is necessary for these dogs.
