General

The Ja-Chon is a mix between a Japanese Chin and a Bichon Frise purebreds. These dogs are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.

The Ja-Chon is a loving and happy dog that is small in size. It can grow up to 15 inches and can weigh anywhere between 10 to 20 pounds. These hybrids are alert, cheerful, loyal and social dogs that are good with children.

Color

The Ja-Chon is found in few different colours of their parent breeds. Common colours for these dogs are black, black and tan and white.

Coat

These hybrids can have curly and long double coat of Bichon Frise or short and dense single coat of Japanese Chin or a mix of these coats.

Personality

The Ja-Chon dog breed is happy, affectionate and loving. They enjoy their time with family and love to be with them.dogs. These dogs are intelligent and easy to train. They are self-assured and friendly with their family and guests but may show wariness towards strangers initially. The Ja-Chon dogs are well-mannered, caring and playful with children which make them good playmates. They also get along well with other dogs and pets in the family. The Ja-Chon dogs are alert to their surroundings and can alarm a signal if they sense anything out of the ordinary. They can be used as watchdogs. These hybrids are very good family pets.

Care

Their coat requires normal grooming and daily brushing to keep the coat clean and matt-free.

The Ja-Chon dogs are intelligent enough to learn and perform new tricks. With gentle but consistent training, they will learn fast. These dogs are easy to train.
