General
The Miniboz is a cross between a purebred Boston Terrier and a purebred Miniature Schnauzer. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.
These dogs are small in size with an average height of 14 to 17 inches and average weight of 15 to 25 pounds. These dogs are gentle, alert, intelligent, docile and eager to please. They are very handy as watch dogs due to their alertness and wariness of strangers. They are kind and patient with children and generally compatible with other dogs and pets in the family.
They are found in different colours. They make very good family pets and alert watch dogs.
Color
Common colours for these dogs are black, silver and white or any mix of these colours.
Coat
Their coat is flat or long wiry and scurfy.
Personality
The Miniboz dogs are very loving and gentle. They are eager to please their owners and do great with children. They are playful and patient dogs that make good play mates for children. These dogs can get along well with other dogs and pets in the house. These dogs are not noisy and will only bark to draw attention or to point to something unusual. They make good watch dogs as they will alert the owner of an approaching stranger. They are high spirited dogs that can do well in an apartment life as well as country life. These dogs are fairly active with high energy levels. They will need long walk and playing and running opportunities to satisfy their physical activity needs. They are very good family and watch dogs.
Care
These dogs should be protected from weather extremes. Their coat needs average grooming and brushing every 2-4 days.
Training
Their intelligence and eager to please attitude makes them easy dogs to train. They can even learn to perform simple tricks.
Activity
The Miniboz dogs need to walk regularly. They also need to go out for play and running.
