Old Deerhound Sheepdog

The Old Deerhound Sheepdog is a cross between two large size pure breed dogs. These dogs are obtained by a mix between a purebred Old English Sheepdog and a purebred Scottish Deerhound. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.

The Old Deerhound Sheepdogs are large size dogs with an average height of 26-32 inches and weight between 80 to 100 pounds. These dogs are very friendly, obedient and eager to please. They are high energy dogs that will need large open areas to play and exercise. They are generally good with children and get along well with other pets as long as they are properly trained and socialized. These dogs are intelligent and social and very adaptable.

They make good family pets for very active families or owners who are ready to fulfill their exercise needs.
