General

The Olde Staff Bulldogge is a cross between an American Staffordshire Terrier and an Olde Bulldog. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.

These dogs are medium in size with an average height of 17 to 20 inches and weight in proportion to the height. They are very friendly and lively dogs as well as protective of their family. They are very family oriented dogs that love to be part of the family. They are alert dogs that will signal arrival of a stranger.

These dogs make good family pets with proper training and socialization.

Color

These dogs are found in many colors due to variation in colors of both parent breeds. Common colors for these dogs are black, grey, white, brown, fawn or any color.

Coat

Their coat is thick, stiff and short that needs average grooming and maintenance.

Personality

The Olde Staff Bulldogges are extremely friendly and very loving dogs. They are courageous and brave dogs as well as alert and attentive. These dogs are intelligent and very protective of their family. They are good natured, happy, outgoing, amusing and very affectionate to their family. They are very docile dogs and love to please their family. With proper socialization, they are very good with children and other dogs and pets in the family. Their attentive and alert nature makes them very good watch dogs. These dogs will need fair amount of exercise to relieve their excess energy. They are very loving and obedient dogs that make very good family pets for all the family.

Care

Their coat needs average grooming. Brushing with a bristle brush once or twice a week is enough. Bath when necessary.

Training

They are easy to train dogs as they are intelligent, eager and willing to please and obedient.

Activity

The Olde Staff Bulldogges will need fair amount of exercise to be happy and satisfied. Their high energy levels need to be addressed through fair amount of physical activities.
