Breed Details

General

The Paperanian breed is a cross breed between the Papillon and the Pomeranian. Being small in size makes it not very suitable for a guard dog. Very social, smart and loves to travel.

Color

Mostly comes in black and white, yellow, solid black or solid white.

Coat

Paperanians have long coats acquired from their parents, the Papillon and the Pomeranian.

Personality

A very smart, sweet and gentle dog. They enjoy socializing and meeting other people. When other dogs bark, they like to bark along.

Care

Grooming should be done regularly especially combing their long fur at least 2-3 times a week.

Training

Training should be done repetitive and consistent manner. This way, they could pick-up quickly as they are intelligent and smart as well as they are eager to please their owners.

Activity

Like any other dogs, the Paperanian will need it's regular exercise. But being small in size, a quick exercise or even walking around the house should be enough to burn off energy.
