General
The Pom-A-Nauze breed is a mixed breed developed from half Miniature Schnauzer and half Pomeranian breeds. They are sometimes called Pomanauzer, Schnauzeranian and Scheranian.
These dogs are from intelligent breeds which makes them even smarter. They are eager to learn as well as please their owners making them highly trainable. These dogs should be properly socialized early in life and they will get along well with other house pets. They also make great watchdogs even with their small size. A human pack leader should be able to keep this dog happy and balanced to keep a happy household.
Color
The breed's coat color can be any color. This includes solid sable, cream and cream/sable particolors.
Coat
This dog's coat is much more like that of the Schnauzer which is wiry. Brushing and combing regularly should keep this dog's coat good looking and tangle-free.
Personality
These dogs are very smart, eager to learn and very loyal to their humans. This makes them wonderful companions and watchdogs. They are affectionate, devoted and highly active. They need a early socialization so they could get along well with other house pets. The Pom-A-Nauze needs a strong pack leader to help him be a balanced dog.
Care
The Pom-A-Nauze are easy to groom. Bathe or dry shampoo as necessary while keeping their toe nails short. This breed of dogs is generally healthy but it will be best that their parents or predecessors are looked up to see what health issues they have encountered and should be watched out for.
Training
This dog is extremely intelligent, eager to learn and strives to please their masters which make them highly trainable. When this dog is socialized properly, they make great companions to humans and other house pets. A calm, assertive, strong pack leader should be able to keep this dog happy, stable and content which makes them a delightful pet.
Activity
These dogs love to chase and are very fast. Ensure that they are in a secure and safe yard during play as they are know to jump over objects. The Pom-A-Nauzes would be fine in apartment or small space living as long as their primal instinct to walk are satisfied and their energy is drained.
