Breed Details

General

Schip-A-Pom are cross hybrids between Pomeranian and Schipperke. They are also known as pomerke and Schip A Pom. They cute little dogs are smart, affectionate, enthusiastic and playful. They love the company and attention they get from the family.

Color

Schip-A-Poms coats comes mostly in solid black color with white chest and tips of toes.

Coat

Schip-A-Poms have a medium to long, shaggy coat. Their long, thick coat makes them not suitable for warm climate places.

Personality

Schip-A-Pom are non-aggressive, intelligent, enthusiastic, playful dogs. They make a good family dogs, and gets along well with children and other dogs. They are loveable, friendly and are always happy.

Care

The Schip-A-Pom sheds moderately than usual. Daily brushing for every 15-30 minutes are recommended to help get rid of the hair loss. Bathing should be done when necessary using mild soap to prevent further hair loss and damage to skin. Their teeth should be cleaned regularly and food intake should be controlled because they breed tend to gain weight rapidly.

Training

Schip-A-Poms are smart dogs, despite their size. They can easily be trained. Of course, early socialization and training while still young would help the dog develop its skills.

Activity

Schip-A-Poms are energetic, playful and cute little dogs. They may not need daily exercise as much as the other dogs, they would enjoy daily walks and trips to the park.
