General
Sheprador, specifically the Australian Sheprador, is a cross between Australian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever. These dogs are known to be a great combination of two breeds, making a reliable and a courageous dog.
Color
Shepradors comes in solid black and brown. Sometimes they come in combinations of brown, white and gray.
Coat
Shepradors have straight, short, water-resistant coat to protect the dogs from extensive use of ground and water environments.
Personality
Shepradors are affectionate, loyal and can be protective at times. They make a great watchdog. They are fully devoted to their owner and can go well with children and other pets.
Care
Shepradors sheds moderately. Brushing their coat like twice a week are advised. Bath only when necessary.
Training
Shepradors are smart and very attentive dogs. They are highly trainable. Raising these large dogs requires to indulge them early training and socialization.
Activity
Shepradors are extremely energetic and playful dogs. They need lots of exercise and would be a great running companion. Having a safe and large yard with these large dogs would be better.
